The Korean show how people and hot air can share the same space. The look of these masks could possibly inspire Michael Bay to come up with a new blockbuster hit on A/C condensers that transform into robots.

12 . Perfect Blend



The installation of condensers on this building blends in really well with the screen on the façade. It is hard to tell whether the condensers took advantage of the horizontal elements of the screen as their supports or the screen was designed for housing and concealing condensers.

11 . Seoul 03 - Spaghetti Incident











Exposed A/C pipes on building façade are common in Korea. Convenience and necessity take over aesthetics when it comes to connecting an A/C unit to its condenser. Pipes are twisted, turned and tangled as much as needed. Some apartments on the top floor even put condensers up on the rooftop.

Can air con condensers be a part of façade design? These pictures were taken from a university in Bangkok’s suburban area. The condensers, carefully positioned on the building façade, obviously are products of an intentional act of the designer.
